Range of Motion #3 - L Forward Bend

This is the third stretch in our series of easy to do range of motion exercises you can do at home.

The L-Shape stretch can be a useful stretch when working to regain range of motion. It is also appropriate for individuals who are working to correct their posture. All you need is a chair or countertop to get started and it feels great. The L-Shape stretch reaches the whole back body. You can vary the stretch by moving your hips from side to side. Do this stretch several times a day holding for at least 30 seconds to 1 minute.
